sunday habits for a perfect week

8:26 PM

I have a love/hate relationship with Sundays. I work Sunday mornings, which can be a drag, but absolutely love Sunday evenings, which I get to spend with friends. But between those two events, I spend a few hours freaking out over the week ahead, forgetting that I could be using those few hours to be a little more productive planning for the week ahead.

Keeping my calendar up-to-date

I spend about 40 minutes on a Sunday updating my phone calendar and my paper diary to match each other. I add some reminders into my iPhone of tasks for the week ahead. It helps to have a general outline of my week, so I have an idea of what's going on when it comes to adding more plans.

Schedule workouts

I'm trying really hard to get back into a fitter/healthy lifestyle, so adding at least 3 workouts a week, whether it's going to the gym or working out through the Nike Training Club app, or a follow along video online.

Do a basic meal prep

Keeping with the above, in lieu of making bad lifestyle decisions, meal prepping is a great way to ensure one doesn't eat absolute junk. Instead of (unrealistically) cooking 21 meals in one sitting... I find it much easier to chop up veggies/fruit and freeze what I need to, in preparation for meals during the week.
