MOOD LIFTERS - 10 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR MOOD

Sometimes life comes at you with bad days, or you see something that gets you down. I was reminded this weekend of our opportunity to choose - to choose the good over the bad, the light over the dark, the silver lining over the cloud & even when you feel like you can't control what's happening, you can trade life's lemons for a pressed juice.

Or a white hot chocolate.

Or a dog.

I don't know, whatever floats your boat.




I have a list, written in my journal, of things I can do to lift my mood. I think it's time the list saw the light of day, though, and not just my face in the middle of an afternoon slump, ya feel?

So here we go, without further ado, here are my top 10 pick-me-ups for when I'm down the the dumps:


  1. Get some sunshine
  2. Research a new goal, update your progress on the old ones
  3. Take yourself on a coffee date
  4. Bake something
  5. Take a nap
  6. Hangout with your pet
  7. Go for a walk somewhere green & serene
  8. Have an at-home spa night
  9. Reminisce
  10. Try a new DIY or craft, or paint!
Hopefully, you find something on this list that will make you feel like a rainbow again. If not, hang in there girl. It will all get better in time & you're strong enough to wait it out.
